Foundation Board of Directors

Josh Brown
Josh has worked at Briggs & Stratton Corporation in Wauwatosa WI, the world’s largest manufacturer of air cooled engines for 10 years. He is currently Director of Sales for the engine division and has held numerous positions in the past spanning engineering, business units, and sales. The positions include, National Account Manager, Product Line Manager, Program Manager, and Application Engineer. Josh holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering (2005) and a Masters in Business Administration (2010) from Marquette University.
 
Jason Fields
Jason Fields is CEO of GlobalEX, LLC. GlobalEX is an international team of professionals providing leadership, strategic and crisis management support to clients worldwide. Jason also is Vice President of Spring Water Asset Management, a 25 million dollar socially responsible investment management firm.  Jason was elected to the Wisconsin State Legislature in 2004 and represented the 11th District Assembly until 2012. Throughout his career, Jason has received numerous awards and honors from organizations including The Business Journal’s “40 under 40,” the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the Governor’s Council’s Wisconsin Financial Literacy Award.
 
Brent Jones
Brent Jones is an independent contractor for Ashley Furniture Industries, where he and his wife work as team in developing product growth in the retail area of the greater Chicago area. Prior to Ashley Furniture Industries, Brent worked as an independent contractor at American Furniture Industries, Inc. and Lane Furniture Industries. Brent has been or is currently involved in a variety of charity organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters and Chicago Cares. An Illinois native, Brent holds an Associates’ degree in Liberal Arts from Holy Cross College and a BBA degree in Marketing from Marquette University. Brent is part of the EmpowerMe Foundation because he believes that in order to help younger generations succeed they need a mentor in life.

 

Ana Lopez

With over 20 years of experience in general construction, Ana Lopez is sole proprietor of AllConn, LLC, a general contracting firm based in the Walker’s Point neighborhood. There she provides oversight of commercial, government and public projects.  In addition to her responsibilities as a business owner, Ana serves on the board of directors for the Milwaukee Christian Center. She is also a mentor for the Notre Dame Middle School Graduate Support Program.

 

Lori Malett

Lori Malett is the President of Hatch Staffing Services, headquartered in Milwaukee, WI. Lori has spent the past 18 years carving out strong client relationships and building a strong team of customer driven, talented recruiters.  In 2001, Lori was named to The Business Journal's "40 Under 40." Lori has served as President of the Marquette University College of Business Alumni Association.  She is currently President of the Wisconsin Association of Staffing Services and also serves on Marquette University’s Human Resources Advisory Board for the College of Business Administration as well as serving as a board member on the Jesuit Partnership Council.

 
Justin Munzel
Justin Munzel works for Wauwatosa, WI based St. Camillus Health System, Inc., a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) that provides services to the sick, poor and elderly. Justin provides financial oversight for the $30 million company and oversees the accounting and central supply/inventory management functions. Prior to St. Camillus, Justin worked in audit & assurance for the accounting firms Grant Thornton LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP. Justin has been involved in many fundraising events for the St. Camillus charitable Foundation and is actively involved with Atonement Lutheran Church in Muskego, WI. He currently sits on the advisory committee at St. Camillus for the Compassionate Coworker Fund – a committee that holds events and seeks donations to help coworkers in need. Justin holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Business and a Master of Science in Accounting degree, both from Marquette University. He is also a registered Certified Public Accountant in the state of Wisconsin.
 
Anthony Russo
Anthony Russo owns his own Dallas-based Marketing Agency, Identity Marketing that specializes in the staffing of brand ambassadors and promotional models for a magnitude of national events. Identity Marketing also specializes in consulting for experiential marketing needs with major national brands. Anthony also is contracted for public speaking events where he hosts and emcees for several large national events as well as serves as a motivational speaker. Prior to Identity Marketing Anthony owned a collegiate merchandise company known as Pridetagz and worked for a marketing agency called CPP (Creative Presence Partners). After growing up in St. Louis, MO, Anthony graduated college with a Liberal Arts degree from Milwaukee Institute of Art and design with a major in communication design and a minor from Marquette University in advertising.
 
Ebony Ssali
Ebony Ssali is the Creative Director and owner of Ssali Media Group, a boutique branding, marketing and media company headquartered in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. Ssali Media creates branding identity and marketing strategy for small to medium volume businesses and organizations. Ssali has a degree in Advertising and Psychology from Marquette University and has been in the advertising and marketing industry for over a decade. She has previous experience in print, broadcast and web. Currently, she prepares brands and companies to compete in the marketplace across media platforms. In use of her expansive knowledge of visual communications, graphic design, marketing, and branding, Ssali is an instructor and guest lecturer on topics relating to branding and marketing throughout Milwaukee. She currently teaches at several higher education institutions in Milwaukee. Ssali serves her community with non-profit and educational board service. She also serves on numerous committees throughout Southeastern Wisconsin, serving as a marketing advisor. Ssali generously supports foundations and non-profit organizations that encourage the arts, education and entrepreneurship.
