BE THE CHANGE
AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING
We are creating a Wisconsin Human Trafficking emergency fund to enhance the quality and quantity of services available to victims of human trafficking. This fund will provide victims housing, food, clothes, beauty supplies, and much more to help welcome them back into society. We need your help to raise funds and make this a reality.
BE THE CHANGE AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING.
WHAT IS HUMAN TRAFFICKING?
Human trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act. Every year, millions of men, women, and children are trafficked worldwide – including right here in Wisconsin in your communities.

Trafficking happens within your own family. You don’t know who is a child molester.
RIGHT IN OUR BACKYARD
Human Trafficking has reached almost epidemic levels in Wisconsin, it is now a hub for one of the most terrible things that can happen to anyone. In 2019 reports indicate 145 new cases of human trafficking, making Wisconsin ranked sixth in the nation for new human trafficking cases. Women, men, and children are being trafficked right here in Wisconsin, forced to do unspeakable things against their will. This is happening right under our noses. The reason being there is little awareness and support for the women, men, and children of all races/socio-economic backgrounds in our community who have been affected. The most important thing we can do is spread awareness to prevent future victims and step up to help those who have been affected to put their lives back together.
If you have a family this impacts you directly. Anyone can be trafficked, your brother, sister, friend, or your neighbor. This matters because it is going on in your community, in your backyard and you are clueless to it. What if someone close to you gets affected by this? Then what are you going to do? Without the right information, you’ll do nothing. That is why you need to be informed and why this matters.
STAY INFORMED, SPREAD THE WORD AND BE THE CHANGE AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING.
“The statistics are staggering. Human trafficking generates $150 billion worldwide, with the United States leading all other countries demand. Roughly 70% of victims worldwide are female. 25% are children. They have been identified in every single US state, and more than ever are reaching out for help.”
“Hundreds of sex-trafficking cases have been reported in Wisconsin, but the real number may be higher, according to a new report”
